Art Card Creations - A Culture Days Activity

On Saturday September 30, 2017, at the Waterloo Public Library, John M. Harper branch.

Sponsored by The Laurelwood Neighbourhood Association and Waterloo Public Library, participants will make something to take home with them and leave something behind as a symbol of community.

In celebration of Canada 150, visitors will be invited to create an art card inspired by trees in your neighbourhood. 

Participants will learn painting techniques and colour mixing observing shapes of trees and leaves. You will be encouraged to unleash your inner creativity and bring your creation home.

As a symbol of community, participants will leave their mark behind on a map"Culture Days in Laurelwood"

Youth Night at LWPS

Youth night for ages 7 to 11 returns at Laurelwood Public School, on most Fridays starting October 6, 2017.

Youth may engage in sports or crafts.

Check the calendar for exact dates.

6:30 - 8:00pm. Cost is $2 at the door.

Living legacy tree-planting program launched to celebrate Canada's 150th anniversary

Laurelwood residents are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to plant a free maple tree on their property.  Laurelwood is located in Ward 2 and our elected representative is Councillor Brian Bourke.
